Infinity conducted the above and below deck condition inspection and evaluation of fourteen (14) bridges around the City of New Orleans. The fourteen bridges located throughout the city consisted of a variety of materials, including concrete, timber, and steel.

The City of New Orleans required these bridges to be inspected through a structural analyses to assign load ratings per AASHTO requirements. Infinity determined most of the fourteen bridges met the AASHTO load rating requirements, and proscribed remedial repairs or replacement for those that did not.

After careful analysis of the bridge inspection, Infinity recommended to the City of New Orleans for a bridge to be replaced in Joe Brown Park. Infinity provided the engineering designs for a complete replacement of the bridge.

The project included the demolition of the old bridge, its support piers, and approach paving. Infinity created the designs for the installation of new pilings/caps, deck panels, abutments, and approach slabs. Additionally considerations were give to the establishment of new traffic markings and striping.
