Ollie Pumping Station Expansion - Jesuit Bend, LA

Ollie Pumping

Station Expansion

Infinity served as the prime consultant for the design of the pump station addition, which included civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering design, and construction administration.

The Ollie Pump Station provides storm drainage across approximately seven (7) miles encompassing about 3000 acres of Plaquemines Parish’s West Bank. Infinity performed a drainage study of the basin and the subsequent addition of two (2) new 300 CFS drainage pumps to an existing 60-year-old facility. The increased capacity accommodated an expanding population and the replacement of aging equipment.

Aerial Drone Myrtle Grove Water and Sewer Line Replacement - Myrtle Grove, LA

Myrtle Grove Water & Sewer

Line replacement

Infinity provided designs for the relocation of (2) 8’’ water lines and (1) 2’’ water line along Marina Road in Myrtle Grove, LA. Infinity’s project scope included both temporary and permanent installation designs. In addition to the water lines, Infinity designed the relocation and installation of approximately 3,800 linear feet of (2) 8’’ DHPE Sewer Force Mains (SFM). Jack and bore method was used for approximately 150 linear feet of the 8” SFM under the new canal construction.

Additionally, Infinity designed the replacement of a sewer lift station (No. 289) which included electrical engineering modifications to the existing pump control panels. The replacement of the sewer lift station included the wet well, dry pit, duplex pumps, and electrical controls. Infinity was required to prepare an application for Coastal Use Permit with the Louisiana Depart of Natural Resource (DNR).

Veterans Affairs Medical Center Infrastructure Improvements - New Orleans, LA

VA MEDICAL Center

Infrastructure Improvements

In support of the new VA Medical Complex located in Mid-City New Orleans, Infinity provided civil and electrical engineering design for the reconstruction of the subsurface utilities. These designs corrected pavement deficiencies in street conditions for 3,000 lf of major thoroughfare as well as the utilities that support the new medical complex.

Infinity designed the subsurface drainage as well as the reroutes for the sewer force main, water main, and underground electrical power distribution. Included in Infinity’s design scope were all roadway paving ( concrete/asphalt curb and gutter) and drainage improvements.

The modification designs were planned to reduce the effect on the community. This included the establishment of new electrical feeders to support the RTA streetcar catenary power and decorative street lighting, surrounding businesses, and a Sewerage & Water Board major sewer lift station. Throughout the duration of construction, Infinity provided an on-site inspector.
